What You Will Learn

Session 1: Foundations of Sustainable Fashion & Design Thinking

  • Introduction to sustainable fashion & textile waste
  • Hands-on fabric sourcing
  • Design thinking & consultation

Session 2: Technical Sewing & Construction 

  • Developing textile design through quilting and patchwork
  • Working with paper patterns for garment assembly
  • Sewing machine basics
  • Constructing kimono or skirt

Session 3: Final Touches & Showcase

  • Finishing up garment construction
  • Adding personalized details 
  • Final upcycled fashion runway
