Shorten the length to turn it into a fun playsuit with shorts or maximize the hem to pair it with heels or trainers. This customized, figure-flattering silhouette has the option of a cut-out back detail, emphasized by contrast binding and side pockets. Learn plenty of techniques!

What You Will Learn

  • Constructing pants and attaching to the bodice
  • Installing side pockets
  • Constructing a mandarin collar and attaching an invisible/concealed zipper
  • Embellishing techniques with bias binding and finishing a cut-out detail
  • Constructing and attaching sleeves with bias edging

Important note

  • Pre-Requisite: Attended our Starter Bundle class OR knowledge in sewing machines and cutting fabrics.
  • Sewing machines and tools are provided for physical class use. Fabrics and trims are not included.
  • Dates for the first session are listed below. Please submit your body measurements at least 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION, otherwise, your starting date will have to be postponed.

Things to Bring for Your First Session

  • 4 metres of Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 0.5 metres of Light-Weight Fusible Interfacing
  • 18 inch of Concealed/Invisible Zipper (Cut-Out Back) OR
  • 22 inch of Concealed/Invisible Zipper (Closed Back)
  • 1 Packet of Cotton Bias Tape (12 mm)
  • 2 sets of Chinese Knot / Fabric Covered Buttons
  • 1 - 6 of Front Buttons (Quantity depends on design choice)
  • 2 - 3 of Black Closure Buttons (Quantity depends on design choice)
