This shirt comes with extended cap sleeves, stand collar and a contrast side panel and curved hem that adds an interesting take to the regular side seams.

What You Will Learn

  • Creating a half-button placket
  • Installing a mandarin collar
  • Finishing a curved hem

  • Pre-Requisite: Attended our Starter Bundle class OR knowledge in sewing machines and cutting fabrics.
  • Sewing machines and tools are provided for physical class use. Fabrics and trims are not included.
  • Dates for the first session are listed below. Please submit your body measurements at least 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION, otherwise, your starting date will have to be postponed.

Things to Bring for Your First Session

Materials (Without Contrast):

  • 1.5 metres of Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 3 Buttons (1.2cm – 1.5cm diameter)
  • 0.5 metres of Light-Weight Fusible Interfacing
  • 0.5 metres of Thick Fusible Interfacing (for collar)

OR

Materials (With Contrast):

  • 1 metre of Fabric A Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 0.5 metres of Fabric B Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 3 Buttons (1.2cm – 1.5cm diameter)
  • 0.5 metres of Light-Weight Fusible Interfacing
  • 0.5 metres of Thick Fusible Interfacing (for collar)
