This 2-piece set for kids features a cute double-layered flutter sleeve top with an elastic waist, as well as an elasticized pants with a pocket. The top has a snap button placket for ease of wearing and the expandable areas allow for some future sizing up!

What You Will Learn

Adding snap buttons and creating a half button placket

  • Adding flutter sleeves
  • Sewing up pants with an elasticized waistband
  • Installing a side seam pocket

  • Pre-Requisite: Attended our Starter Bundle class OR knowledge in sewing machines and cutting fabrics.
  • Sewing machines and tools are provided for physical class use. Fabrics and trims are not included.

Things to Bring for Your First Session

Materials (Without Contrast):

  • 1.5 metres of Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 0.5 metres of Light-Weight Fusible Interfacing
  • 1 packet of Cotton Bias Tape
  • 0.5 metres of Elastic (1.5cm width)
  • 1 - 2 Snap Buttons (9mm diameter)

OR

Materials (With Contrast):

  • 1 metres of Fabric A Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 0.5 metres of Fabric B Non-Stretch Cotton
  • 1 packet of Cotton Bias Tape
  • 0.5 metres of Elastic (1.5cm width)
  • 1 - 2 Snap Buttons (9mm diameter)
