In 2023, we introduced exciting new sewing classes, including:

- Raglan Cut Dress/Jumpsuit
- Box Pleated Lined Skirt

Shingo Sato
A collaboration with TR Cutting School brought Shingo Sato’s expertise to our community, spicing things up with his innovative techniques in developing three-dimensional designs. He held 3-day workshops in Origami Textile Techniques, Transformational Reconstruction Draping, and Creative Moulage & Transformational Reconstruction Cut Dress.
Orange Lemon Lingerie
Orange Lemon Lingerie spilled the deets on creating a cute Bralette and Panty set – the ultimate comfort-meet-style combo!
Handeecrafts
Handeecrafts skillfully guided our students through the fundamentals techniques of crochet, making cozy coasters for that Insta-worthy home vibe!
Momshoo
Momshoo shared the art of hand embroidery to our students giving them the opportunity to jazz up their clothes and add a personal touch to their creations!
Agy Textile Artist
Agathe Lee (Agy) introduced the Free Motion Embroidery in her workshop, inviting our students to explore creative freedom with the sewing machine. Perfect for those seeking artistic expression in their sewing projects!

Our students shone bright in 2023! A heartfelt shoutout to everyone for pouring their best efforts into their creations. Crafting their own garments became more than just a project – it became a journey of creativity and collaboration. One group even took it a step further, creating matching coasters that perfectly complemented their beautiful Cheongsams. We hope everyone enjoyed their time in Fashion Makerspace and we look forward to seeing all of you next year!
