Fashion Sewing 204 – Contemporary Cheongsam (Series of 5)
If you’ve done some sewing but want to learn professional techniques, you are ready for this class. If you’re not familiar with the sewing machine, click here for our Fashion Sewing 101 class.
5 session workshop total 15hrs
Once a week (same time each week)
All sewing tools & domestic sewing machines provided.
Fabric & zipper NOT included – Non-stretch cotton fabrics recommended.
For the first session, please bring a 24″ concealed zipper, 2.5 – 3 metres of non-stretch cotton fabric, 2-3 Chinese frog buttons & 1.5m of bias tape.

Learn to use a domestic serger to overlock edges, pick up basic pattern reading + sewing techniques include how to assemble + finish a bias-bound Mandarin collar, install set-in sleeves and concealed zipper.
